Psychosocial Workshop by PETA

The Philippine Educational Theater Association - or PETA for short - held a workshop on psychosocial intervention and psychosocial debriefing (specialized for children) at the University of the Philippines Manila - College of Arts and Sciences last March 15, 2014. It was organized by the department of Behavioral Sciences and UP Behavioral Studies Society (UP-BestSoc).

Being part of the Documentation division of the UP-BestSoc, I volunteered to take photographs in one of the four classes. I had registered to one of the classes, after all. It was a fun experience and I learned a lot. We were encouraged to separate from most of our blockmates/classmates, so we could also mingle and make new acquaintances during the workshop.

Things were pretty hectic at the registration table. Not all classes had equal class sizes because the room sizes were different.

I still don't know why the year written was "2015" in the registration list, and why anyone else barely commented on it before.

We made some pretty good art as a group, each made from an individual work that is a symbol that is meaningful to us.

I'm quite fond of this nickname of mine, and it's the only nickname I liked being called by. Not that I want to be more boyish or anything, but the idea of having a proper nickname derived from my actual name makes me happy.

Left to right: BestSoc Chair, DBS Professor, PETA facilitators || Man, those facilitators are a cheery group.
